Feedback on roughcut

>Many people didn't understand the storyline and were confused by the fact there was more than one girl, when we are able to shot more then it will become more obvious to the audience.

>The majority liked the opening scene with the feet walking up to the door and as the door is opened the male character begins to sing.

>Good idea/acting/performance.

>End part dragged on too long.

>lip-syncing affective although more needed.

>Good pace at the beginning.

>Good variety of locations.

>Interesting to watch.

Overall we need to add more variety of shots and the storyline needs to be made more clear. Filming difficult as a member of our group, who happens to be the main character, has left college, therefore our media group. We hope to be able to get more filming completed over half term so we can get more footage.

Rough Cut

PITCH

Our idea is to have one main male charcter who will be singing the song throughout. He will be singing to 3 different girls, who we will place in different locations. The beginning sees the male character picking up the first girl from her house, he will immediating start singing to her as she opens the door. It then shows them walking to a different location such as a pub. You then see the man pulling out a chair and it shows that he is on another date in another location when it moves to the second verse. In the chorus he is again, with another girl, this time in a park. The camera scans up to the sky and scans back down to show a different location, which will be a house. It then goes to the male character and a different girl inside the house watching TV, eating ice-cream. The next part is the chorus and the male character is with another girl and they are punting. The next verse then shows a party scene and the male is with one of the girl's dancing with and singing to her. The last part of the music video shows all three girls going up to the male character as they have found out about each other. The male character sings to each of the girls, in which they respond by slapping him and then they all leave one by one. This leaves the male character alone, ironically not 'Happy Together' with anyone, although he just shrugs and walks away as the song comes to an end.
